Right now what I've been doing is making overview profiles that show nothing but the specific ore I want because trying to sort it out of a generic mining profile doesn't work. I am already aware of this and it doesn't alleviate the fact that sorting by type in the overview doesn't group the 3 variations of an ore together because all 3 have their own "Type" and get sorted alphabetically away from each other. Each asteroid type, ie veldspar and hedbergite, is a separate entry in the overview settings, allowing you to tailor your overview to only display the ore types you're mining. After you look at that a few times, you'll learn which is which, and know to go for those first.Īlso, you can adjust your overview settings. Or, you could take half a second, while looking at the chart that tells you either the payout for the mins or the mineral composition of the ore, to look at the ore you're mining to find which are the +5% and +10%s. This way you end up withĬoncentrated Veldspar - Concentrated VeldsparĪs it is right now if I try to sort my overview by type I end up with Condensed Scordite and Concentrated Veldspar together (since it's sorting alphabetically), and then normal Veldspar way at the at the bottom with all manner of other ores in between.Īs it is right now the 'Type ' of an asteroid is useless and redundant info to have on the overview. What I'm proposing is that the variations for any one ore should all share a category to make for easier sorting. The thing that bugs me though is that all 3 of the variations for any one ore also have 3 separate categories in the overview. Either the one that pass the best, or the one that has the mineral they need to finish building something. When people mine, they're usually out looking for a specific ore. This here is a little quality of life improvement.
